We are nearly done putting our newest home together. More than half of our neighborhood (Santa Fe Village) is in the same state of moving-in. The ones who are completely settled, the "old folks," arrived in January. Every family has three or more children, our homes are all identical and newly remodeled, our soldiers are all at the same point in their careers and none of us is dealing with or preparing for a deployment. There is opportunity for interesting social experiments here!
The kids have made fast friends. Katie has two five year old girls, John has two five year old boys, Allison has two four year olds (one boy, one girl) and little Claire has a 2 1/2 year old girl who is in her preschool class - all within 100 yards of our front door.
I expect a wonderful year for all of us!
